107:1
Ayah 107:1
أَرَءَيْتَ ٱلَّذِى يُكَذِّبُ بِٱلدِّينِ
أَرَءَيْتَ
ara-ayta
Have you seen
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
the one who
يُكَذِّبُ
yukadhibu
denies
بِٱلدِّينِ
bil-dīni
the Judgment
Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense?

107:2
Ayah 107:2
فَذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يَدُعُّ ٱلْيَتِيمَ
فَذَٰلِكَ
fadhālika
Then that
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
(is) the one who
يَدُعُّ
yaduʿʿu
repulses
ٱلْيَتِيمَ
l-yatīma
the orphan
For that is the one who drives away the orphan

107:3
Ayah 107:3
وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
وَلَا
walā
And (does) not
يَحُضُّ
yaḥuḍḍu
feel the urge
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
to
طَعَامِ
ṭaʿāmi
feed
ٱلْمِسْكِينِ
l-mis'kīni
the poor
And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.

107:4
Ayah 107:4
فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ
فَوَيْلٌ
fawaylun
So woe
لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ
lil'muṣallīna
to those who pray
So woe to those who pray

107:5
Ayah 107:5
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
Those who
هُمْ
hum
[they]
عَن
ʿan
about
صَلَاتِهِمْ
ṣalātihim
their prayers
سَاهُونَ
sāhūna
(are) neglectful
[But] who are heedless of their prayer1 -

107:6
Ayah 107:6
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَآءُونَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
Those who
هُمْ
hum
[they]
يُرَآءُونَ
yurāūna
make show
Those who make show [of their deeds]

Ayah 107:7
وَيَمْنَعُونَ ٱلْمَاعُونَ
وَيَمْنَعُونَ
wayamnaʿūna
And they deny
ٱلْمَاعُونَ
l-māʿūna
[the] small kindnesses
And withhold [simple] assistance.
