(the) Lord
l-ʿarshi
(of) the Throne

yakhūḍū
(to) converse vainly

they meet
yawmahumu
their Day
alladhī
which
yūʿadūna
they are promised
So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised.

wahuwa
And He
alladhī
(is) the One Who
فِى
(is) in
l-samāi
the heaven
ilāhun
God

l-ḥakīmu
(is) the All-Wise
l-ʿalīmu
the All-Knower

— The Clear Quran, Dr. Mustafa Khattab
43:85
Ayah 43:85
watabāraka
And blessed (is)
alladhī
the One Who
lahu
to Whom
mul'ku
(belongs the) dominion
l-samāwāti
(of) the heavens
wal-arḍi
and the earth

and whatever
baynahumā
(is) between both of them
waʿindahu
and with Him
ʿil'mu
(is the) knowledge
l-sāʿati
(of) the Hour
wa-ilayhi
and to Him
tur'jaʿūna
you will be returned
And blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them and with whom is knowledge of the Hour and to whom you will be returned.

43:86
Ayah 43:86
walā
And not
yamliku
have power
alladhīna
those whom
yadʿūna
they invoke
مِن
min
besides Him
dūnihi
besides Him
l-shafāʿata
(for) the intercession
illā
except
مَن
man
who
shahida
testifies
bil-ḥaqi
to the truth
wahum
and they
yaʿlamūna
know
And those they invoke1 besides Him do not possess [power of] intercession; but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit], and they know.2
— The Clear Quran, Dr. Mustafa Khattab
43:87
Ayah 43:87
wala-in
And if
sa-altahum
you ask them
man
who
khalaqahum
created them
layaqūlunna
they will certainly say
l-lahu
Allah
fa-annā
Then how
yu'fakūna
are they deluded
And if you asked them1 who created them, they would surely say, "Allāh." So how are they deluded?
— The Clear Quran, Dr. Mustafa Khattab
43:88
Ayah 43:88
waqīlihi
And his saying
yārabbi
O my Lord
inna
Indeed
hāulāi
these
qawmun
(are) a people
(who do) not
yu'minūna
believe
And [Allāh acknowledges] his saying,1 "O my Lord, indeed these are a people who do not believe."
— The Clear Quran, Dr. Mustafa Khattab
43:89
Ayah 43:89
fa-iṣ'faḥ
So turn away
ʿanhum
from them
waqul
and say
salāmun
Peace
fasawfa
But soon
yaʿlamūna
they will know
So turn aside from them and say, "Peace."1 But they are going to know.
— The Clear Quran, Dr. Mustafa Khattab
