49:1
Ayah 49:1
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تُقَدِّمُوا۟ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ۖ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
O you who believe
لَا
(Do) not
تُقَدِّمُوا۟
tuqaddimū
put (yourselves) forward
بَيْنَ
bayna
before Allah
يَدَىِ
yadayi
before Allah
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
before Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasūlihi
and His Messenger
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
wa-ittaqū
and fear Allah
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
and fear Allah
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
سَمِيعٌ
samīʿun
(is) All-Hearer
عَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmun
All-Knower
O you who have believed, do not put [yourselves] before Allāh and His Messenger1 but fear Allāh. Indeed, Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.

49:2
Ayah 49:2
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَرْفَعُوٓا۟ أَصْوَٰتَكُمْ فَوْقَ صَوْتِ ٱلنَّبِىِّ وَلَا تَجْهَرُوا۟ لَهُۥ بِٱلْقَوْلِ كَجَهْرِ بَعْضِكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ أَن تَحْبَطَ أَعْمَـٰلُكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ لَا تَشْعُرُونَ
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
O you who believe
لَا
(Do) not
تَرْفَعُوٓا۟
tarfaʿū
raise
أَصْوَٰتَكُمْ
aṣwātakum
your voices
فَوْقَ
fawqa
above
صَوْتِ
ṣawti
(the) voice
ٱلنَّبِىِّ
l-nabiyi
(of) the Prophet
وَلَا
walā
and (do) not
تَجْهَرُوا۟
tajharū
be loud
لَهُۥ
lahu
to him
بِٱلْقَوْلِ
bil-qawli
in speech
كَجَهْرِ
kajahri
like (the) loudness
بَعْضِكُمْ
baʿḍikum
(of) some of you
لِبَعْضٍ
libaʿḍin
to others
أَن
an
lest
تَحْبَطَ
taḥbaṭa
become worthless
أَعْمَـٰلُكُمْ
aʿmālukum
your deeds
وَأَنتُمْ
wa-antum
while you
لَا
(do) not
تَشْعُرُونَ
tashʿurūna
perceive
O you who have believed, do not raise your voices above the voice of the Prophet or be loud to him in speech like the loudness of some of you to others, lest your deeds become worthless while you perceive not.

49:3
Ayah 49:3
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَغُضُّونَ أَصْوَٰتَهُمْ عِندَ رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱمْتَحَنَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمْ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ ۚ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
يَغُضُّونَ
yaghuḍḍūna
lower
أَصْوَٰتَهُمْ
aṣwātahum
their voices
عِندَ
ʿinda
(in) presence
رَسُولِ
rasūli
(of the) Messenger of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of the) Messenger of Allah
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
those
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(are) the ones
ٱمْتَحَنَ
im'taḥana
Allah has tested
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah has tested
قُلُوبَهُمْ
qulūbahum
their hearts
لِلتَّقْوَىٰ
lilttaqwā
for righteousness
لَهُم
lahum
For them
مَّغْفِرَةٌ
maghfiratun
(is) forgiveness
وَأَجْرٌ
wa-ajrun
and a reward
عَظِيمٌ
ʿaẓīmun
great
Indeed, those who lower their voices before the Messenger of Allāh - they are the ones whose hearts Allāh has tested for righteousness. For them is forgiveness and great reward.

49:4
Ayah 49:4
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُنَادُونَكَ مِن وَرَآءِ ٱلْحُجُرَٰتِ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْقِلُونَ
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
يُنَادُونَكَ
yunādūnaka
call you
مِن
min
from
وَرَآءِ
warāi
behind
ٱلْحُجُرَٰتِ
l-ḥujurāti
the private chambers
أَكْثَرُهُمْ
aktharuhum
most of them
لَا
(do) not
يَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūna
understand
Indeed, those who call you, [O Muḥammad], from behind the chambers - most of them do not use reason.

49:5
Ayah 49:5
وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ صَبَرُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ تَخْرُجَ إِلَيْهِمْ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
وَلَوْ
walaw
And if
أَنَّهُمْ
annahum
they
صَبَرُوا۟
ṣabarū
had been patient
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattā
until
تَخْرُجَ
takhruja
you came out
إِلَيْهِمْ
ilayhim
to them
لَكَانَ
lakāna
certainly it would be
خَيْرًا
khayran
better
لَّهُمْ
lahum
for them
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
غَفُورٌ
ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
raḥīmun
Most Merciful
And if they had been patient until you [could] come out to them, it would have been better for them. But Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.

49:6
Ayah 49:6
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن جَآءَكُمْ فَاسِقٌۢ بِنَبَإٍ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟ أَن تُصِيبُوا۟ قَوْمًۢا بِجَهَـٰلَةٍ فَتُصْبِحُوا۟ عَلَىٰ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ نَـٰدِمِينَ
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
āmanū
O you who believe
إِن
in
If
جَآءَكُمْ
jāakum
comes to you
فَاسِقٌۢ
fāsiqun
a wicked person
بِنَبَإٍ
binaba-in
with information
فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟
fatabayyanū
investigate
أَن
an
lest
تُصِيبُوا۟
tuṣībū
you harm
قَوْمًۢا
qawman
a people
بِجَهَـٰلَةٍ
bijahālatin
in ignorance
فَتُصْبِحُوا۟
fatuṣ'biḥū
then you become
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
over
مَا
what
فَعَلْتُمْ
faʿaltum
you have done
نَـٰدِمِينَ
nādimīna
regretful
O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful.

49:7
Ayah 49:7
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ فِيكُمْ رَسُولَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ لَوْ يُطِيعُكُمْ فِى كَثِيرٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْإِيمَـٰنَ وَزَيَّنَهُۥ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلْكُفْرَ وَٱلْفُسُوقَ وَٱلْعِصْيَانَ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلرَّٰشِدُونَ
وَٱعْلَمُوٓا۟
wa-iʿ'lamū
And know
أَنَّ
anna
that
فِيكُمْ
fīkum
among you
رَسُولَ
rasūla
(is the) Messenger of Allah
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(is the) Messenger of Allah
لَوْ
law
If
يُطِيعُكُمْ
yuṭīʿukum
he were to obey you
فِى
in
كَثِيرٍ
kathīrin
much
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلْأَمْرِ
l-amri
the matter
لَعَنِتُّمْ
laʿanittum
surely you would be in difficulty
وَلَـٰكِنَّ
walākinna
but
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
حَبَّبَ
ḥabbaba
has endeared
إِلَيْكُمُ
ilaykumu
to you
ٱلْإِيمَـٰنَ
l-īmāna
the Faith
وَزَيَّنَهُۥ
wazayyanahu
and has made it pleasing
فِى
in
قُلُوبِكُمْ
qulūbikum
your hearts
وَكَرَّهَ
wakarraha
and has made hateful
إِلَيْكُمُ
ilaykumu
to you
ٱلْكُفْرَ
l-kuf'ra
disbelief
وَٱلْفُسُوقَ
wal-fusūqa
and defiance
وَٱلْعِصْيَانَ
wal-ʿiṣ'yāna
and disobedience
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
Those
هُمُ
humu
(are) they
ٱلرَّٰشِدُونَ
l-rāshidūna
the guided ones
And know that among you is the Messenger of Allāh. If he were to obey you in much of the matter, you would be in difficulty, but Allāh has endeared to you the faith and has made it pleasing in your hearts and has made hateful to you disbelief, defiance and disobedience. Those are the [rightly] guided.

49:8
Ayah 49:8
فَضْلًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَنِعْمَةً ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
فَضْلًا
faḍlan
A Bounty
مِّنَ
mina
from Allah
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
from Allah
وَنِعْمَةً
waniʿ'matan
and favor
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
حَكِيمٌ
ḥakīmun
All-Wise
[It is] as bounty from Allāh and favor. And Allāh is Knowing and Wise.

49:9
Ayah 49:9
وَإِن طَآئِفَتَانِ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱقْتَتَلُوا۟ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَإِنۢ بَغَتْ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا عَلَى ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ فَقَـٰتِلُوا۟ ٱلَّتِى تَبْغِى حَتَّىٰ تَفِىٓءَ إِلَىٰٓ أَمْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَإِن فَآءَتْ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَهُمَا بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَأَقْسِطُوٓا۟ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
طَآئِفَتَانِ
ṭāifatāni
two parties
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīna
the believers
ٱقْتَتَلُوا۟
iq'tatalū
fight
فَأَصْلِحُوا۟
fa-aṣliḥū
then make peace
بَيْنَهُمَا
baynahumā
between both of them
فَإِنۢ
fa-in
But if
بَغَتْ
baghat
oppresses
إِحْدَىٰهُمَا
iḥ'dāhumā
one of them
عَلَى
ʿalā
on
ٱلْأُخْرَىٰ
l-ukh'rā
the other
فَقَـٰتِلُوا۟
faqātilū
then fight
ٱلَّتِى
allatī
one which
تَبْغِى
tabghī
oppresses
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattā
until
تَفِىٓءَ
tafīa
it returns
إِلَىٰٓ
ilā
to
أَمْرِ
amri
(the) command
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
فَإِن
fa-in
Then if
فَآءَتْ
fāat
it returns
فَأَصْلِحُوا۟
fa-aṣliḥū
then make peace
بَيْنَهُمَا
baynahumā
between them
بِٱلْعَدْلِ
bil-ʿadli
with justice
وَأَقْسِطُوٓا۟
wa-aqsiṭū
and act justly
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
يُحِبُّ
yuḥibbu
loves
ٱلْمُقْسِطِينَ
l-muq'siṭīna
those who act justly
And if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allāh. And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allāh loves those who act justly.

49:10
Ayah 49:10
إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ فَأَصْلِحُوا۟ بَيْنَ أَخَوَيْكُمْ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
إِنَّمَا
innamā
Only
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
l-mu'minūna
the believers
إِخْوَةٌ
ikh'watun
(are) brothers
فَأَصْلِحُوا۟
fa-aṣliḥū
so make peace
بَيْنَ
bayna
between
أَخَوَيْكُمْ
akhawaykum
your brothers
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
wa-ittaqū
and fear Allah
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
and fear Allah
لَعَلَّكُمْ
laʿallakum
so that you may
تُرْحَمُونَ
tur'ḥamūna
receive mercy
The believers are but brothers, so make settlement between your brothers. And fear Allāh that you may receive mercy.

49:11
Ayah 49:11
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا يَسْخَرْ قَوْمٌ مِّن قَوْمٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونُوا۟ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُمْ وَلَا نِسَآءٌ مِّن نِّسَآءٍ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُنَّ خَيْرًا مِّنْهُنَّ ۖ وَلَا تَلْمِزُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَلَا تَنَابَزُوا۟ بِٱلْأَلْقَـٰبِ ۖ بِئْسَ ٱلِٱسْمُ ٱلْفُسُوقُ بَعْدَ ٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ ۚ وَمَن لَّمْ يَتُبْ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا

O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
O you who believe
لَا
(Let) not
يَسْخَرْ
yaskhar
ridicule
قَوْمٌ
qawmun
a people
مِّن
min
[of]
قَوْمٍ
qawmin
(another) people
عَسَىٰٓ
ʿasā
perhaps
أَن
an
that
يَكُونُوا۟
yakūnū
they may be
خَيْرًا
khayran
better
مِّنْهُمْ
min'hum
than them
وَلَا
walā
and (let) not
نِسَآءٌ
nisāon
women
مِّن
min
[of]
نِّسَآءٍ
nisāin
(other) women
عَسَىٰٓ
ʿasā
perhaps
أَن
an
that
يَكُنَّ
yakunna
they may be
خَيْرًا
khayran
better
مِّنْهُنَّ
min'hunna
than them
وَلَا
walā
And (do) not
تَلْمِزُوٓا۟
talmizū
insult
أَنفُسَكُمْ
anfusakum
yourselves
وَلَا
walā
and (do) not
تَنَابَزُوا۟
tanābazū
call each other
بِٱلْأَلْقَـٰبِ
bil-alqābi
by nicknames
بِئْسَ
bi'sa
Wretched is
ٱلِٱسْمُ
l-s'mu
the name
ٱلْفُسُوقُ
l-fusūqu
(of) disobedience
بَعْدَ
baʿda
after
ٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ
l-īmāni
the faith
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
لَّمْ
lam
(does) not
يَتُبْ
yatub
repent
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulāika
then those
هُمُ
humu
they
ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
l-ẓālimūna
(are) the wrongdoers
O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name [i.e., mention] of disobedience after [one's] faith. And whoever does not repent - then it is those who are the wrongdoers.

49:12
Ayah 49:12
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ كَثِيرًا مِّنَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِنَّ بَعْضَ ٱلظَّنِّ إِثْمٌ ۖ وَلَا تَجَسَّسُوا۟ وَلَا يَغْتَب بَّعْضُكُم بَعْضًا ۚ أَيُحِبُّ أَحَدُكُمْ أَن يَأْكُلَ لَحْمَ أَخِيهِ مَيْتًا فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ تَوَّابٌ رَّحِيمٌ
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O you who believe
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
O you who believe
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
O you who believe
ٱجْتَنِبُوا۟
ij'tanibū
Avoid
كَثِيرًا
kathīran
much
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلظَّنِّ
l-ẓani
the assumption
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
بَعْضَ
baʿḍa
some
ٱلظَّنِّ
l-ẓani
assumption
إِثْمٌ
ith'mun
(is) sin
وَلَا
walā
And (do) not
تَجَسَّسُوا۟
tajassasū
spy
وَلَا
walā
and (do) not
يَغْتَب
yaghtab
backbite
بَّعْضُكُم
baʿḍukum
some of you
بَعْضًا
baʿḍan
(to) others
أَيُحِبُّ
ayuḥibbu
Would like
أَحَدُكُمْ
aḥadukum
one of you
أَن
an
to
يَأْكُلَ
yakula
eat
لَحْمَ
laḥma
(the) flesh
أَخِيهِ
akhīhi
(of) his brother
مَيْتًا
maytan
dead
فَكَرِهْتُمُوهُ
fakarih'tumūhu
Nay, you would hate it
وَٱتَّقُوا۟
wa-ittaqū
And fear Allah
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
And fear Allah
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
تَوَّابٌ
tawwābun
(is) Oft-Returning
رَّحِيمٌ
raḥīmun
Most Merciful
O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allāh; indeed, Allāh is Accepting of Repentance and Merciful.

49:13
Ayah 49:13
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَـٰكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَىٰ وَجَعَلْنَـٰكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَآئِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَتْقَىٰكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبِيرٌ
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O mankind
ٱلنَّاسُ
l-nāsu
O mankind
إِنَّا
innā
Indeed, We
خَلَقْنَـٰكُم
khalaqnākum
created you
مِّن
min
from
ذَكَرٍ
dhakarin
a male
وَأُنثَىٰ
wa-unthā
and a female
وَجَعَلْنَـٰكُمْ
wajaʿalnākum
and We made you
شُعُوبًا
shuʿūban
nations
وَقَبَآئِلَ
waqabāila
and tribes
لِتَعَارَفُوٓا۟
litaʿārafū
that you may know one another
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
أَكْرَمَكُمْ
akramakum
(the) most noble of you
عِندَ
ʿinda
near
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
أَتْقَىٰكُمْ
atqākum
(is the) most righteous of you
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
عَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
خَبِيرٌ
khabīrun
All-Aware
O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allāh is the most righteous1 of you. Indeed, Allāh is Knowing and Aware.

49:14
Ayah 49:14
۞ قَالَتِ ٱلْأَعْرَابُ ءَامَنَّا ۖ قُل لَّمْ تُؤْمِنُوا۟ وَلَـٰكِن قُولُوٓا۟ أَسْلَمْنَا وَلَمَّا يَدْخُلِ ٱلْإِيمَـٰنُ فِى قُلُوبِكُمْ ۖ وَإِن تُطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ لَا يَلِتْكُم مِّنْ أَعْمَـٰلِكُمْ شَيْـًٔا ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
قَالَتِ
qālati
Say
ٱلْأَعْرَابُ
l-aʿrābu
the Bedouins
ءَامَنَّا
āmannā
We believe
قُل
qul
Say
لَّمْ
lam
Not
تُؤْمِنُوا۟
tu'minū
you believe
وَلَـٰكِن
walākin
but
قُولُوٓا۟
qūlū
say
أَسْلَمْنَا
aslamnā
We have submitted
وَلَمَّا
walammā
and has not yet
يَدْخُلِ
yadkhuli
entered
ٱلْإِيمَـٰنُ
l-īmānu
the faith
فِى
in
قُلُوبِكُمْ
qulūbikum
your hearts
وَإِن
wa-in
But if
تُطِيعُوا۟

you obey
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasūlahu
and His Messenger
لَا
not
يَلِتْكُم
yalit'kum
He will deprive you
مِّنْ
min
of
أَعْمَـٰلِكُمْ
aʿmālikum
your deeds
شَيْـًٔا
shayan
anything
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
غَفُورٌ
ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
raḥīmun
Most Merciful
The bedouins say, "We have believed." Say, "You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], 'We have submitted,' for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allāh and His Messenger, He will not deprive you from your deeds1 of anything. Indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful."

49:15
Ayah 49:15
إِنَّمَا ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَرْتَابُوا۟ وَجَـٰهَدُوا۟ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصَّـٰدِقُونَ
إِنَّمَا
innamā
Only
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
l-mu'minūna
the believers
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(are) those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasūlihi
and His Messenger
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَمْ
lam
(do) not
يَرْتَابُوا۟
yartābū
doubt
وَجَـٰهَدُوا۟
wajāhadū
but strive
بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ
bi-amwālihim
with their wealth
وَأَنفُسِهِمْ
wa-anfusihim
and their lives
فِى
in
سَبِيلِ
sabīli
(the) way
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
Those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلصَّـٰدِقُونَ
l-ṣādiqūna
(are) the truthful
The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allāh and His Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives in the cause of Allāh. It is those who are the truthful.

49:16
Ayah 49:16
قُلْ أَتُعَلِّمُونَ ٱللَّهَ بِدِينِكُمْ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
قُلْ
qul
Say
أَتُعَلِّمُونَ
atuʿallimūna
Will you acquaint
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
بِدِينِكُمْ
bidīnikum
with your religion
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
while Allah
يَعْلَمُ
yaʿlamu
knows
مَا
what
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَمَا
wamā
and what
فِى
(is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍi
the earth
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَىْءٍ
shayin
thing
عَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knower
Say, "Would you acquaint Allāh with your religion while Allāh knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and Allāh is Knowing of all things?"

49:17
Ayah 49:17
يَمُنُّونَ عَلَيْكَ أَنْ أَسْلَمُوا۟ ۖ قُل لَّا تَمُنُّوا۟ عَلَىَّ إِسْلَـٰمَكُم ۖ بَلِ ٱللَّهُ يَمُنُّ عَلَيْكُمْ أَنْ هَدَىٰكُمْ لِلْإِيمَـٰنِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
يَمُنُّونَ
yamunnūna
They consider (it) a favor
عَلَيْكَ
ʿalayka
to you
أَنْ
an
that
أَسْلَمُوا۟
aslamū
they have accepted Islam
قُل
qul
Say
لَّا
(Do) not
تَمُنُّوا۟
tamunnū
consider a favor
عَلَىَّ
ʿalayya
on me
إِسْلَـٰمَكُم
is'lāmakum
your Islam
بَلِ
bali
Nay
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
يَمُنُّ
yamunnu
has conferred a favor
عَلَيْكُمْ
ʿalaykum
upon you
أَنْ
an
that
هَدَىٰكُمْ
hadākum
He has guided you
لِلْإِيمَـٰنِ
lil'īmāni
to the faith
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you are
صَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīna
truthful
They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islām. Say, "Do not consider your Islām a favor to me. Rather, Allāh has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful."

49:18
Ayah 49:18
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بَصِيرٌۢ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
يَعْلَمُ
yaʿlamu
knows
غَيْبَ
ghayba
(the) unseen
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
(of) the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
wal-arḍi
and the earth
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بَصِيرٌۢ
baṣīrun
(is) All-Seer
بِمَا
bimā
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūna
you do
Indeed, Allāh knows the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. And Allāh is Seeing of what you do.
