وَٱلطُّورِ
وَٱلطُّورِ
wal-ṭūri
By the Mount
By the mount

52:2
Ayah 52:2
وَكِتَـٰبٍ مَّسْطُورٍ
وَكِتَـٰبٍ
wakitābin
And by (the) Book
مَّسْطُورٍ
masṭūrin
written
And [by] a Book inscribed1

52:3
Ayah 52:3
فِى رَقٍّ مَّنشُورٍ
فِى
In
رَقٍّ
raqqin
parchment
مَّنشُورٍ
manshūrin
unrolled
In parchment spread open

52:4
Ayah 52:4
وَٱلْبَيْتِ ٱلْمَعْمُورِ
وَٱلْبَيْتِ
wal-bayti
By the House
ٱلْمَعْمُورِ
l-maʿmūri
frequented
And [by] the frequented House1

52:5
Ayah 52:5
وَٱلسَّقْفِ ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ
وَٱلسَّقْفِ
wal-saqfi
By the roof
ٱلْمَرْفُوعِ
l-marfūʿi
raised high
And [by] the ceiling [i.e., heaven] raised high

52:6
Ayah 52:6
وَٱلْبَحْرِ ٱلْمَسْجُورِ
وَٱلْبَحْرِ
wal-baḥri
By the sea
ٱلْمَسْجُورِ
l-masjūri
filled
And [by] the sea set on fire,1

52:7
Ayah 52:7
إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّكَ لَوَٰقِعٌ
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
عَذَابَ
ʿadhāba
(the) punishment
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
لَوَٰقِعٌ
lawāqiʿun
(will) surely occur
Indeed, the punishment of your Lord will occur.

52:8
Ayah 52:8
مَّا لَهُۥ مِن دَافِعٍ
مَّا
Not
لَهُۥ
lahu
for it
مِن
min
any
دَافِعٍ
dāfiʿin
preventer
Of it there is no preventer.

52:9
Ayah 52:9
يَوْمَ تَمُورُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ مَوْرًا
يَوْمَ
yawma
(On the) Day
تَمُورُ
tamūru
will shake
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
l-samāu
the heaven
مَوْرًا
mawran
(with violent) shake
On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion

52:10
Ayah 52:10
وَتَسِيرُ ٱلْجِبَالُ سَيْرًا
وَتَسِيرُ
watasīru
And will move away
ٱلْجِبَالُ
l-jibālu
the mountains
سَيْرًا
sayran
(with an awful) movement
And the mountains will pass on, departing1 -

52:11
Ayah 52:11
فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
فَوَيْلٌ
fawaylun
Then woe
يَوْمَئِذٍ
yawma-idhin
that Day
لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
lil'mukadhibīna
to the deniers
Then woe, that Day, to the deniers,

52:12
Ayah 52:12
ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
Who
هُمْ
hum
[they]
فِى
in
خَوْضٍ
khawḍin
(vain) discourse
يَلْعَبُونَ
yalʿabūna
are playing
Who are in [empty] discourse amusing themselves.

52:13
Ayah 52:13
يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا
يَوْمَ
yawma
(The) Day
يُدَعُّونَ
yudaʿʿūna
they will be thrust
إِلَىٰ
ilā
(in)to
نَارِ
nāri
(the) Fire
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
دَعًّا
daʿʿan
(with) a thrust
The Day they are thrust toward the fire of Hell with a [violent] thrust, [its angels will say],

52:14
Ayah 52:14
هَـٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ
هَـٰذِهِ
hādhihi
This
ٱلنَّارُ
l-nāru
(is) the Fire
ٱلَّتِى
allatī
which
كُنتُم
kuntum
you used to
بِهَا
bihā
[of it]
تُكَذِّبُونَ
tukadhibūna
deny
"This is the Fire which you used to deny.

52:15
Ayah 52:15
أَفَسِحْرٌ هَـٰذَآ أَمْ أَنتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ
أَفَسِحْرٌ
afasiḥ'run
Then is this magic
هَـٰذَآ
hādhā
Then is this magic
أَمْ
am
or
أَنتُمْ
antum
you
لَا
(do) not
تُبْصِرُونَ
tub'ṣirūna
see
Then is this magic, or do you not see?

52:16
Ayah 52:16
ٱصْلَوْهَا فَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ ۖ إِنَّمَا تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
ٱصْلَوْهَا
iṣ'lawhā
Burn in it
فَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟
fa-iṣ'birū
then be patient
أَوْ
aw
or
لَا
(do) not
تَصْبِرُوا۟
taṣbirū
be patient
سَوَآءٌ
sawāon
(it is) same
عَلَيْكُمْ
ʿalaykum
for you
إِنَّمَا
innamā
Only
تُجْزَوْنَ
tuj'zawna
you are being recompensed
مَا
(for) what
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you used to
تَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūna
do
[Enter to] burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for you. You are only being recompensed [for] what you used to do."

52:17
Ayah 52:17
إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍ وَنَعِيمٍ
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ
l-mutaqīna
the righteous
فِى
(will be) in
جَنَّـٰتٍ
jannātin
Gardens
وَنَعِيمٍ
wanaʿīmin
and pleasure
Indeed, the righteous will be in gardens and pleasure,

52:18
Ayah 52:18
فَـٰكِهِينَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ وَوَقَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلْجَحِيمِ
فَـٰكِهِينَ
fākihīna
Enjoying
بِمَآ
bimā
in what
ءَاتَىٰهُمْ
ātāhum
has given them
رَبُّهُمْ
rabbuhum
their Lord
وَوَقَىٰهُمْ
wawaqāhum
and protected them
رَبُّهُمْ
rabbuhum
their Lord
عَذَابَ
ʿadhāba
(from the) punishment
ٱلْجَحِيمِ
l-jaḥīmi
(of) Hellfire
Enjoying what their Lord has given them, and their Lord protected them from the punishment of Hellfire.

52:19
Ayah 52:19
كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
كُلُوا۟
kulū
Eat
وَٱشْرَبُوا۟
wa-ish'rabū
and drink
هَنِيٓـًٔۢا
hanīan
(in) satisfaction
بِمَا
bimā
for what
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you used to
تَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūna
do
[They will be told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."

52:20
Ayah 52:20
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ سُرُرٍ مَّصْفُوفَةٍ ۖ وَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٍ
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ
muttakiīna
Reclining
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
on
سُرُرٍ
sururin
thrones
مَّصْفُوفَةٍ
maṣfūfatin
lined up
وَزَوَّجْنَـٰهُم
wazawwajnāhum
and We will marry them
بِحُورٍ
biḥūrin
to fair ones
عِينٍ
ʿīnin
(with) large eyes
They will be reclining on thrones lined up, and We will marry them to fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes.

52:21
Ayah 52:21
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُم بِإِيمَـٰنٍ أَلْحَقْنَا بِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ وَمَآ أَلَتْنَـٰهُم مِّنْ عَمَلِهِم مِّن شَىْءٍ ۚ كُلُّ ٱمْرِئٍۭ بِمَا كَسَبَ رَهِينٌ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīna
And those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
believed
وَٱتَّبَعَتْهُمْ
wa-ittabaʿathum
and followed them
ذُرِّيَّتُهُم
dhurriyyatuhum
their offspring
بِإِيمَـٰنٍ
biīmānin
in faith
أَلْحَقْنَا
alḥaqnā
We will join
بِهِمْ
bihim
with them
ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ
dhurriyyatahum
their offspring
وَمَآ
wamā
and not
أَلَتْنَـٰهُم
alatnāhum
We will deprive them
مِّنْ
min
of
عَمَلِهِم
ʿamalihim
their deeds
مِّن
min
(in) any
شَىْءٍ
shayin
thing
كُلُّ
kullu
Every
ٱمْرِئٍۭ
im'ri-in
person
بِمَا
bimā
for what
كَسَبَ
kasaba
he earned
رَهِينٌ
rahīnun
(is) pledged
And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds.1 Every person, for what he earned, is retained.2

52:22
Ayah 52:22
وَأَمْدَدْنَـٰهُم بِفَـٰكِهَةٍ وَلَحْمٍ مِّمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ
وَأَمْدَدْنَـٰهُم
wa-amdadnāhum
And We will provide them
بِفَـٰكِهَةٍ
bifākihatin
with fruit
وَلَحْمٍ
walaḥmin
and meat
مِّمَّا
mimmā
from what
يَشْتَهُونَ
yashtahūna
they desire
And We will provide them with fruit and meat from whatever they desire.

52:23
Ayah 52:23
يَتَنَـٰزَعُونَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا لَّا لَغْوٌ فِيهَا وَلَا تَأْثِيمٌ
يَتَنَـٰزَعُونَ
yatanāzaʿūna
They will pass to one another
فِيهَا
fīhā
therein
كَأْسًا
kasan
a cup
لَّا
no
لَغْوٌ
laghwun
ill speech
فِيهَا
fīhā
therein
وَلَا
walā
and no
تَأْثِيمٌ
tathīmun
sin
They will exchange with one another a cup [of wine] wherein [results] no ill speech or commission of sin.

52:24
Ayah 52:24
۞ وَيَطُوفُ عَلَيْهِمْ غِلْمَانٌ لَّهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ لُؤْلُؤٌ مَّكْنُونٌ
وَيَطُوفُ
wayaṭūfu
And will circulate
عَلَيْهِمْ
ʿalayhim
among them
غِلْمَانٌ
ghil'mānun
boys
لَّهُمْ
lahum
for them
كَأَنَّهُمْ
ka-annahum
as if they (were)
لُؤْلُؤٌ
lu'lu-on
pearls
مَّكْنُونٌ
maknūnun
well-protected
There will circulate among them [servant] boys [especially] for them, as if they were pearls well-protected.

52:25
Ayah 52:25
وَأَقْبَلَ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
وَأَقْبَلَ
wa-aqbala
And will approach
بَعْضُهُمْ
baʿḍuhum
some of them
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
to
بَعْضٍ
baʿḍin
others
يَتَسَآءَلُونَ
yatasāalūna
inquiring
And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other.

52:26
Ayah 52:26
قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبْلُ فِىٓ أَهْلِنَا مُشْفِقِينَ
قَالُوٓا۟
qālū
They will say
إِنَّا
innā
Indeed, we
كُنَّا
kunnā
[we] were
قَبْلُ
qablu
before
فِىٓ
among
أَهْلِنَا
ahlinā
our families
مُشْفِقِينَ
mush'fiqīna
fearful
They will say, "Indeed, we were previously among our people fearful [of displeasing Allāh].

52:27
Ayah 52:27
فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَوَقَىٰنَا عَذَابَ ٱلسَّمُومِ
فَمَنَّ
famanna
But Allah conferred favor
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
But Allah conferred favor
عَلَيْنَا
ʿalaynā
upon us
وَوَقَىٰنَا
wawaqānā
and protected us
عَذَابَ
ʿadhāba
(from the) punishment
ٱلسَّمُومِ
l-samūmi
(of) the Scorching Fire
So Allāh conferred favor upon us and protected us from the punishment of the Scorching Fire.

52:28
Ayah 52:28
إِنَّا كُنَّا مِن قَبْلُ نَدْعُوهُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْبَرُّ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
إِنَّا
innā
Indeed, we
كُنَّا
kunnā
[we] used to
مِن
min
before
قَبْلُ
qablu
before
نَدْعُوهُ
nadʿūhu
call Him
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed, He
هُوَ
huwa
[He]
ٱلْبَرُّ
l-baru
(is) the Most Kind
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmu
the Most Merciful
Indeed, we used to supplicate1 Him before. Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent, the Merciful."

52:29
Ayah 52:29
فَذَكِّرْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِنِعْمَتِ رَبِّكَ بِكَاهِنٍ وَلَا مَجْنُونٍ
فَذَكِّرْ
fadhakkir
Therefore remind
فَمَآ
famā
for not
أَنتَ
anta
you
بِنِعْمَتِ
biniʿ'mati
(are) by (the) grace
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
بِكَاهِنٍ
bikāhinin
a soothsayer
وَلَا
walā
and not
مَجْنُونٍ
majnūnin
a madman
So remind, [O Muḥammad], for you are not, by the favor of your Lord, a soothsayer or a madman.

52:30
Ayah 52:30
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ شَاعِرٌ نَّتَرَبَّصُ بِهِۦ رَيْبَ ٱلْمَنُونِ
أَمْ
am
Or
يَقُولُونَ
yaqūlūna
(do) they say
شَاعِرٌ
shāʿirun
A poet
نَّتَرَبَّصُ
natarabbaṣu
we wait
بِهِۦ
bihi
for him
رَيْبَ
rayba
a misfortune of time
ٱلْمَنُونِ
l-manūni
a misfortune of time
Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time"?1

52:31
Ayah 52:31
قُلْ تَرَبَّصُوا۟ فَإِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ
قُلْ
qul
Say
تَرَبَّصُوا۟
tarabbaṣū
Wait
فَإِنِّى
fa-innī
for indeed I am
مَعَكُم
maʿakum
with you
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلْمُتَرَبِّصِينَ
l-mutarabiṣīna
those who wait
Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters."

52:32
Ayah 52:32
أَمْ تَأْمُرُهُمْ أَحْلَـٰمُهُم بِهَـٰذَآ ۚ أَمْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
تَأْمُرُهُمْ
tamuruhum
command them
أَحْلَـٰمُهُم
aḥlāmuhum
their minds
بِهَـٰذَآ
bihādhā
this
أَمْ
am
or
هُمْ
hum
they
قَوْمٌ
qawmun
(are) a people
طَاغُونَ
ṭāghūna
transgressing
Or do their minds1 command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people?

52:33
Ayah 52:33
أَمْ يَقُولُونَ تَقَوَّلَهُۥ ۚ بَل لَّا يُؤْمِنُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
يَقُولُونَ
yaqūlūna
(do) they say
تَقَوَّلَهُۥ
taqawwalahu
He has made it up
بَل
bal
Nay
لَّا
not
يُؤْمِنُونَ
yu'minūna
they believe
Or do they say, "He has made it up"? Rather, they do not believe.

52:34
Ayah 52:34
فَلْيَأْتُوا۟ بِحَدِيثٍ مِّثْلِهِۦٓ إِن كَانُوا۟ صَـٰدِقِينَ
فَلْيَأْتُوا۟
falyatū
Then let them bring
بِحَدِيثٍ
biḥadīthin
a statement
مِّثْلِهِۦٓ
mith'lihi
like it
إِن
in
if
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they are
صَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīna
truthful
Then let them produce a statement like it, if they should be truthful.

52:35
Ayah 52:35
أَمْ خُلِقُوا۟ مِنْ غَيْرِ شَىْءٍ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰلِقُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
خُلِقُوا۟
khuliqū
they were created
مِنْ
min
of
غَيْرِ
ghayri
nothing
شَىْءٍ
shayin
nothing
أَمْ
am
or
هُمُ
humu
(are) they
ٱلْخَـٰلِقُونَ
l-khāliqūna
the creators
Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]?

52:36
Ayah 52:36
أَمْ خَلَقُوا۟ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ ۚ بَل لَّا يُوقِنُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
خَلَقُوا۟
khalaqū
(did) they create
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
wal-arḍa
and the earth
بَل
bal
Nay
لَّا
not
يُوقِنُونَ
yūqinūna
they are certain
Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they are not certain.

52:37
Ayah 52:37
أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَبِّكَ أَمْ هُمُ ٱلْمُصَۣيْطِرُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
عِندَهُمْ
ʿindahum
with them
خَزَآئِنُ
khazāinu
(are the) treasures
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
أَمْ
am
or
هُمُ
humu
(are) they
ٱلْمُصَۣيْطِرُونَ
l-muṣayṭirūna
the controllers
Or have they the depositories [containing the provision] of your Lord? Or are they the controllers [of them]?

52:38
Ayah 52:38
أَمْ لَهُمْ سُلَّمٌ يَسْتَمِعُونَ فِيهِ ۖ فَلْيَأْتِ مُسْتَمِعُهُم بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ مُّبِينٍ
أَمْ
am
Or
لَهُمْ
lahum
for them
سُلَّمٌ
sullamun
(is) a stairway
يَسْتَمِعُونَ
yastamiʿūna
they listen
فِيهِ
fīhi
therewith
فَلْيَأْتِ
falyati
Then let bring
مُسْتَمِعُهُم
mus'tamiʿuhum
their listener
بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ
bisul'ṭānin
an authority
مُّبِينٍ
mubīnin
clear
Or have they a stairway [into the heaven] upon which they listen? Then let their listener produce a clear authority [i.e., proof].

52:39
Ayah 52:39
أَمْ لَهُ ٱلْبَنَـٰتُ وَلَكُمُ ٱلْبَنُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
لَهُ
lahu
for Him
ٱلْبَنَـٰتُ
l-banātu
(are) daughters
وَلَكُمُ
walakumu
while for you
ٱلْبَنُونَ
l-banūna
(are) sons
Or has He daughters while you have sons?
— The Clear Quran, Dr. Mustafa Khattab
52:40
Ayah 52:40
أَمْ تَسْـَٔلُهُمْ أَجْرًا فَهُم مِّن مَّغْرَمٍ مُّثْقَلُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
تَسْـَٔلُهُمْ
tasaluhum
(do) you ask from them
أَجْرًا
ajran
a payment
فَهُم
fahum
so they
مِّن
min
from
مَّغْرَمٍ
maghramin
a debt
مُّثْقَلُونَ
muth'qalūna
(are) overburdened
Or do you, [O Muḥammad], ask of them a payment, so they are by debt burdened down?

52:41
Ayah 52:41
أَمْ عِندَهُمُ ٱلْغَيْبُ فَهُمْ يَكْتُبُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
عِندَهُمُ
ʿindahumu
with them
ٱلْغَيْبُ
l-ghaybu
(is) the unseen
فَهُمْ
fahum
so they
يَكْتُبُونَ
yaktubūna
write (it) down
Or have they [knowledge of] the unseen, so they write [it] down?

52:42
Ayah 52:42
أَمْ يُرِيدُونَ كَيْدًا ۖ فَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْمَكِيدُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
يُرِيدُونَ
yurīdūna
(do) they intend
كَيْدًا
kaydan
a plot
فَٱلَّذِينَ
fa-alladhīna
But those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieve
هُمُ
humu
themselves
ٱلْمَكِيدُونَ
l-makīdūna
(are in) the plot
Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan.

52:43
Ayah 52:43
أَمْ لَهُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ غَيْرُ ٱللَّهِ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
أَمْ
am
Or
لَهُمْ
lahum
for them
إِلَـٰهٌ
ilāhun
a god
غَيْرُ
ghayru
other than
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
سُبْحَـٰنَ
sub'ḥāna
Glory be
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(to) Allah
عَمَّا
ʿammā
from what
يُشْرِكُونَ
yush'rikūna
they associate (with Him)
Or have they a deity other than Allāh? Exalted is Allāh above whatever they associate with Him.

52:44
Ayah 52:44
وَإِن يَرَوْا۟ كِسْفًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ سَاقِطًا يَقُولُوا۟ سَحَابٌ مَّرْكُومٌ
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
يَرَوْا۟
yaraw
they were to see
كِسْفًا
kis'fan
a portion
مِّنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
l-samāi
the sky
سَاقِطًا
sāqiṭan
falling
يَقُولُوا۟
yaqūlū
they will say
سَحَابٌ
saḥābun
Clouds
مَّرْكُومٌ
markūmun
heaped up
And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling,1 they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up."

52:45
Ayah 52:45
فَذَرْهُمْ حَتَّىٰ يُلَـٰقُوا۟ يَوْمَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى فِيهِ يُصْعَقُونَ
فَذَرْهُمْ
fadharhum
So leave them
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattā
until
يُلَـٰقُوا۟
yulāqū
they meet
يَوْمَهُمُ
yawmahumu
their Day
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
which
فِيهِ
fīhi
in it
يُصْعَقُونَ
yuṣ'ʿaqūna
they will faint
So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible -

52:46
Ayah 52:46
يَوْمَ لَا يُغْنِى عَنْهُمْ كَيْدُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا هُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
يَوْمَ
yawma
(The) Day
لَا
not
يُغْنِى
yugh'nī
will avail
عَنْهُمْ
ʿanhum
to them
كَيْدُهُمْ
kayduhum
their plotting
شَيْـًٔا
shayan
(in) anything
وَلَا
walā
and not
هُمْ
hum
they
يُنصَرُونَ
yunṣarūna
will be helped
The Day their plan will not avail them at all, nor will they be helped.

52:47
Ayah 52:47
وَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ عَذَابًا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhīna
for those who
ظَلَمُوا۟
ẓalamū
do wrong
عَذَابًا
ʿadhāban
(is) a punishment
دُونَ
dūna
before
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
وَلَـٰكِنَّ
walākinna
but
أَكْثَرَهُمْ
aktharahum
most of them
لَا
(do) not
يَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūna
know
And indeed, for those who have wronged is a punishment1 before that, but most of them do not know.

52:48
Ayah 52:48
وَٱصْبِرْ لِحُكْمِ رَبِّكَ فَإِنَّكَ بِأَعْيُنِنَا ۖ وَسَبِّحْ بِحَمْدِ رَبِّكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ
وَٱصْبِرْ
wa-iṣ'bir
So be patient
لِحُكْمِ
liḥuk'mi
for (the) Command
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
فَإِنَّكَ
fa-innaka
for indeed, you
بِأَعْيُنِنَا
bi-aʿyuninā
(are) in Our Eyes
وَسَبِّحْ
wasabbiḥ
And glorify
بِحَمْدِ
biḥamdi
(the) praise
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
حِينَ
ḥīna
when
تَقُومُ
taqūmu
you arise
And be patient, [O Muḥammad], for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes [i.e., sight]. And exalt [Allāh] with praise of your Lord when you arise

52:49
Ayah 52:49
وَمِنَ ٱلَّيْلِ فَسَبِّحْهُ وَإِدْبَـٰرَ ٱلنُّجُومِ
وَمِنَ
wamina
And of
ٱلَّيْلِ
al-layli
the night
فَسَبِّحْهُ
fasabbiḥ'hu
glorify Him
وَإِدْبَـٰرَ
wa-id'bāra
and after
ٱلنُّجُومِ
l-nujūmi
the stars
And in a part of the night exalt Him and after [the setting of] the stars.
