وَلَقَدْ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيْفِهِۦ فَطَمَسْنَآ أَعْيُنَهُمْ فَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِى وَنُذُرِ
وَلَقَدۡ رَاوَدُوۡهُ عَنۡ ضَيۡفِهٖ فَطَمَسۡنَاۤ اَعۡيُنَهُمۡ فَذُوۡقُوۡا عَذَابِىۡ وَنُذُرِ
وَلَقَدْ
وَلَقَدۡ
walaqad
And certainly
رَٰوَدُوهُ
رَاوَدُوۡهُ
rāwadūhu
they demanded from him
عَن
عَنۡ
ʿan
they demanded from him
ضَيْفِهِۦ
ضَيۡفِهٖ
ḍayfihi
his guests
فَطَمَسْنَآ
فَطَمَسۡنَاۤ
faṭamasnā
so We blinded
أَعْيُنَهُمْ
اَعۡيُنَهُمۡ
aʿyunahum
their eyes
فَذُوقُوا۟
فَذُوۡقُوۡا
fadhūqū
So taste
عَذَابِى
عَذَابِىۡ
ʿadhābī
My punishment
وَنُذُرِ
وَنُذُرِ
wanudhuri
and My warnings
And they had demanded from him his guests, but We obliterated their eyes, [saying], "Taste My punishment and warning."
