وَكَانُوا۟ يَقُولُونَ أَئِذَا مِتْنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَعِظَـٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
وَكَانُوۡا يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ ۙ اَٮِٕذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابًا وَّعِظَامًا ءَاِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَۙ
وَكَانُوا۟
وَكَانُوۡا
wakānū
And they used (to)
يَقُولُونَ
يَقُوۡلُوۡنَ
yaqūlūna
say
أَئِذَا
اَٮِٕذَا
a-idhā
When
مِتْنَا
مِتۡنَا
mit'nā
we die
وَكُنَّا
وَكُنَّا
wakunnā
and become
تُرَابًا
تُرَابًا
turāban
dust
وَعِظَـٰمًا
وَّعِظَامًا
waʿiẓāman
and bones
أَءِنَّا
ءَاِنَّا
a-innā
will we
لَمَبْعُوثُونَ
لَمَبۡعُوۡثُوۡنَ
lamabʿūthūna
surely be resurrected
And they used to say, "When we die and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?
