64:1
Ayah 64:1
يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
يُسَبِّحُ
yusabbiḥu
Glorifies
لِلَّهِ
lillahi
[to] Allah
مَا
whatever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَمَا
wamā
and whatever
فِى
(is) in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍi
the earth
لَهُ
lahu
For Him
ٱلْمُلْكُ
l-mul'ku
(is the) dominion
وَلَهُ
walahu
and for Him
ٱلْحَمْدُ
l-ḥamdu
(is) the praise
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
(is) on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَىْءٍ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٌ
qadīrun
All-Powerful
Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth is exalting Allāh.1 To Him belongs dominion, and to Him belongs [all] praise, and He is over all things competent.

64:2
Ayah 64:2
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكُمْ فَمِنكُمْ كَافِرٌ وَمِنكُم مُّؤْمِنٌ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
(is) the One Who
خَلَقَكُمْ
khalaqakum
created you
فَمِنكُمْ
faminkum
and among you
كَافِرٌ
kāfirun
(is) a disbeliever
وَمِنكُم
waminkum
and among you
مُّؤْمِنٌ
mu'minun
(is) a believer
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِمَا
bimā
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūna
you do
بَصِيرٌ
baṣīrun
(is) All-Seer
It is He who created you, and among you is the disbeliever, and among you is the believer. And Allāh, of what you do, is Seeing.

64:3
Ayah 64:3
خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَصَوَّرَكُمْ فَأَحْسَنَ صُوَرَكُمْ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
He created
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضَ
wal-arḍa
and the earth
بِٱلْحَقِّ
bil-ḥaqi
with truth
وَصَوَّرَكُمْ
waṣawwarakum
and He formed you
فَأَحْسَنَ
fa-aḥsana
and made good
صُوَرَكُمْ
ṣuwarakum
your forms
وَإِلَيْهِ
wa-ilayhi
and to Him
ٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīru
(is) the final return
He created the heavens and earth in truth and formed you and perfected your forms; and to Him is the [final] destination.

64:4
Ayah 64:4
يَعْلَمُ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تُسِرُّونَ وَمَا تُعْلِنُونَ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
يَعْلَمُ
yaʿlamu
He knows
مَا
what
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
the heavens
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
wal-arḍi
and the earth
وَيَعْلَمُ
wayaʿlamu
and He knows
مَا
what
تُسِرُّونَ
tusirrūna
you conceal
وَمَا
wamā
and what
تُعْلِنُونَ
tuʿ'linūna
you declare
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
عَلِيمٌۢ
ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knowing
بِذَاتِ
bidhāti
of what
ٱلصُّدُورِ
l-ṣudūri
(is in) the breasts
He knows what is within the heavens and earth and knows what you conceal and what you declare. And Allāh is Knowing of that within the breasts.

64:5
Ayah 64:5
أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَبْلُ فَذَاقُوا۟ وَبَالَ أَمْرِهِمْ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
أَلَمْ
alam
Has not
يَأْتِكُمْ
yatikum
come to you
نَبَؤُا۟
naba-u
(the) news
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(of) those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
مِن
min
from
قَبْلُ
qablu
before
فَذَاقُوا۟
fadhāqū
So they tasted
وَبَالَ
wabāla
(the bad) consequence
أَمْرِهِمْ
amrihim
(of) their affair
وَلَهُمْ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌ
alīmun
painful
Has there not come to you the news of those who disbelieved before? So they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment.

64:6
Ayah 64:6
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُۥ كَانَت تَّأْتِيهِمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ فَقَالُوٓا۟ أَبَشَرٌ يَهْدُونَنَا فَكَفَرُوا۟ وَتَوَلَّوا۟ ۚ وَّٱسْتَغْنَى ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ غَنِىٌّ حَمِيدٌ
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
بِأَنَّهُۥ
bi-annahu
(is) because
كَانَت
kānat
had
تَّأْتِيهِمْ
tatīhim
come to them
رُسُلُهُم
rusuluhum
their Messengers
بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ
bil-bayināti
with clear proofs
فَقَالُوٓا۟
faqālū
but they said
أَبَشَرٌ
abasharun
Shall human beings
يَهْدُونَنَا
yahdūnanā
guide us
فَكَفَرُوا۟
fakafarū
So they disbelieved
وَتَوَلَّوا۟
watawallaw
and turned away
وَّٱسْتَغْنَى
wa-is'taghnā
And can do without them
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
غَنِىٌّ
ghaniyyun
(is) Self-sufficient
حَمِيدٌ
ḥamīdun
Praiseworthy
That is because their messengers used to come to them with clear evidences, but they said, "Shall human beings guide us?" and disbelieved and turned away. And Allāh dispensed [with them]; and Allāh is Free of need and Praiseworthy.

64:7
Ayah 64:7
زَعَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَن لَّن يُبْعَثُوا۟ ۚ قُلْ بَلَىٰ وَرَبِّى لَتُبْعَثُنَّ ثُمَّ لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ بِمَا عَمِلْتُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ يَسِيرٌ
زَعَمَ
zaʿama
Claim
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوٓا۟
kafarū
disbelieve
أَن
an
that
لَّن
lan
never
يُبْعَثُوا۟
yub'ʿathū
will they be raised
قُلْ
qul
Say
بَلَىٰ
balā
Yes
وَرَبِّى
warabbī
by my Lord
لَتُبْعَثُنَّ
latub'ʿathunna
surely you will be raised
ثُمَّ
thumma
then
لَتُنَبَّؤُنَّ
latunabba-unna
surely you will be informed
بِمَا
bimā
of what
عَمِلْتُمْ
ʿamil'tum
you did
وَذَٰلِكَ
wadhālika
And that
عَلَى
ʿalā
for
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
يَسِيرٌ
yasīrun
(is) easy
Those who disbelieve have claimed that they will never be resurrected. Say, "Yes, by my Lord, you will surely be resurrected; then you will surely be informed of what you did. And that, for Allāh, is easy."

64:8
Ayah 64:8
فَـَٔامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلنُّورِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلْنَا ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرٌ
فَـَٔامِنُوا۟
faāminū
So believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasūlihi
and His Messenger
وَٱلنُّورِ
wal-nūri
and the Light
ٱلَّذِىٓ
alladhī
which
أَنزَلْنَا
anzalnā
We have sent down
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِمَا
bimā
of what
تَعْمَلُونَ
taʿmalūna
you do
خَبِيرٌ
khabīrun
(is) All-Aware
So believe in Allāh and His Messenger and the light [i.e., the Qur’ān] which We have sent down. And Allāh is Aware of what you do.

64:9
Ayah 64:9
يَوْمَ يَجْمَعُكُمْ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْجَمْعِ ۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوْمُ ٱلتَّغَابُنِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ وَيَعْمَلْ صَـٰلِحًا يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ وَيُدْخِلْهُ جَنَّـٰتٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
يَوْمَ
yawma
(The) Day
يَجْمَعُكُمْ
yajmaʿukum
He will assemble you
لِيَوْمِ
liyawmi
for (the) Day
ٱلْجَمْعِ
l-jamʿi
(of) the Assembly
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
يَوْمُ
yawmu
(will be the) Day
ٱلتَّغَابُنِ
l-taghābuni
(of) mutual loss and gain
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُؤْمِنۢ
yu'min
believes
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَيَعْمَلْ
wayaʿmal
and does
صَـٰلِحًا
ṣāliḥan
righteous deeds
يُكَفِّرْ
yukaffir
He will remove
عَنْهُ
ʿanhu
from him
سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦ
sayyiātihi
his evil deeds
وَيُدْخِلْهُ
wayud'khil'hu
and He will admit him
جَنَّـٰتٍ
jannātin
(to) Gardens
تَجْرِى
tajrī
flow
مِن
min
from
تَحْتِهَا
taḥtihā
underneath it
ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ
l-anhāru
the rivers
خَـٰلِدِينَ
khālidīna
abiding
فِيهَآ
fīhā
therein
أَبَدًا
abadan
forever
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
ٱلْفَوْزُ
l-fawzu
(is) the success
ٱلْعَظِيمُ
l-ʿaẓīmu
the great
The Day He will assemble you for the Day of Assembly - that is the Day of Deprivation.1 And whoever believes in Allāh and does righteousness - He will remove from him his misdeeds and admit him to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever. That is the great attainment.

64:10
Ayah 64:10
وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīna
But those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
وَكَذَّبُوا۟
wakadhabū
and denied
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَآ
biāyātinā
[in] Our Verses
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
those
أَصْحَـٰبُ
aṣḥābu
(are the) companions
ٱلنَّارِ
l-nāri
(of) the Fire
خَـٰلِدِينَ
khālidīna
abiding forever
فِيهَا
fīhā
therein
وَبِئْسَ
wabi'sa
And wretched is
ٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīru
the destination
But the ones who disbelieved and denied Our verses - those are the companions of the Fire, abiding eternally therein; and wretched is the destination.

64:11
Ayah 64:11
مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُۥ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ
مَآ
Not
أَصَابَ
aṣāba
strikes
مِن
min
any
مُّصِيبَةٍ
muṣībatin
disaster
إِلَّا
illā
except
بِإِذْنِ
bi-idh'ni
by (the) permission
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُؤْمِنۢ
yu'min
believes
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
يَهْدِ
yahdi
He guides
قَلْبَهُۥ
qalbahu
his heart
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
of every
شَىْءٍ
shayin
thing
عَلِيمٌ
ʿalīmun
(is) All-Knowing
No disaster strikes except by permission of Allāh. And whoever believes in Allāh - He will guide his heart. And Allāh is Knowing of all things.

64:12
Ayah 64:12
وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ ۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
وَأَطِيعُوا۟
wa-aṭīʿū
So obey
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَأَطِيعُوا۟
wa-aṭīʿū
and obey
ٱلرَّسُولَ
l-rasūla
the Messenger
فَإِن
fa-in
but if
تَوَلَّيْتُمْ
tawallaytum
you turn away
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innamā
then only
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
upon
رَسُولِنَا
rasūlinā
Our Messenger
ٱلْبَلَـٰغُ
l-balāghu
(is) the conveyance
ٱلْمُبِينُ
l-mubīnu
clear
And obey Allāh and obey the Messenger; but if you turn away - then upon Our Messenger is only [the duty of] clear notification.

64:13
Ayah 64:13
ٱللَّهُ لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
ٱللَّهُ
al-lahu
Allah
لَآ
(there is) no
إِلَـٰهَ
ilāha
god
إِلَّا
illā
except
هُوَ
huwa
Him
وَعَلَى
waʿalā
And upon
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ
falyatawakkali
let put (their) trust
ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ
l-mu'minūna
the believers
Allāh - there is no deity except Him. And upon Allāh let the believers rely.

64:14
Ayah 64:14
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ وَأَوْلَـٰدِكُمْ عَدُوًّا لَّكُمْ فَٱحْذَرُوهُمْ ۚ وَإِن تَعْفُوا۟ وَتَصْفَحُوا۟ وَتَغْفِرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(you) who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
āmanū
believe
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
مِنْ
min
from
أَزْوَٰجِكُمْ
azwājikum
your spouses
وَأَوْلَـٰدِكُمْ
wa-awlādikum
and your children
عَدُوًّا
ʿaduwwan
(are) enemies
لَّكُمْ
lakum
to you
فَٱحْذَرُوهُمْ
fa-iḥ'dharūhum
so beware of them
وَإِن
wa-in
But if
تَعْفُوا۟
taʿfū
you pardon
وَتَصْفَحُوا۟
wataṣfaḥū
and overlook
وَتَغْفِرُوا۟
wataghfirū
and forgive
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
غَفُورٌ
ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌ
raḥīmun
Most Merciful
O you who have believed, indeed, among your spouses and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive - then indeed, Allāh is Forgiving and Merciful.

64:15
Ayah 64:15
إِنَّمَآ أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ وَأَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عِندَهُۥٓ أَجْرٌ عَظِيمٌ
إِنَّمَآ
innamā
Only
أَمْوَٰلُكُمْ
amwālukum
your wealth
وَأَوْلَـٰدُكُمْ
wa-awlādukum
and your children
فِتْنَةٌ
fit'natun
(are) a trial
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
and Allah
عِندَهُۥٓ
ʿindahu
with Him
أَجْرٌ
ajrun
(is) a reward
عَظِيمٌ
ʿaẓīmun
great
Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allāh has with Him a great reward.

64:16
Ayah 64:16
فَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ وَٱسْمَعُوا۟ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ وَأَنفِقُوا۟ خَيْرًا لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ ۗ وَمَن يُوقَ شُحَّ نَفْسِهِۦ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
فَٱتَّقُوا۟
fa-ittaqū
So fear
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
مَا
what
ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ
is'taṭaʿtum
you are able
وَٱسْمَعُوا۟
wa-is'maʿū
and listen
وَأَطِيعُوا۟
wa-aṭīʿū
and obey
وَأَنفِقُوا۟
wa-anfiqū
and spend
خَيْرًا
khayran
(it is) better
لِّأَنفُسِكُمْ
li-anfusikum
for yourselves
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُوقَ
yūqa
is saved
شُحَّ
shuḥḥa
(from the) greediness
نَفْسِهِۦ
nafsihi
(of) his soul
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulāika
then those
هُمُ
humu
[they]
ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ
l-muf'liḥūna
(are) the successful ones
So fear Allāh as much as you are able and listen and obey and spend [in the way of Allāh]; it is better for your selves. And whoever is protected from the stinginess of his soul - it is those who will be the successful.

64:17
Ayah 64:17
إِن تُقْرِضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا يُضَـٰعِفْهُ لَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ شَكُورٌ حَلِيمٌ
إِن
in
If
تُقْرِضُوا۟
tuq'riḍū
you loan
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
(to) Allah
قَرْضًا
qarḍan
a loan
حَسَنًا
ḥasanan
goodly
يُضَـٰعِفْهُ
yuḍāʿif'hu
He will multiply it
لَكُمْ
lakum
for you
وَيَغْفِرْ
wayaghfir
and will forgive
لَكُمْ
lakum
you
وَٱللَّهُ
wal-lahu
And Allah
شَكُورٌ
shakūrun
(is) Most Appreciative
حَلِيمٌ
ḥalīmun
Most Forbearing
If you loan Allāh a goodly loan, He will multiply it for you and forgive you. And Allāh is [most] Appreciative1 and Forbearing,2

64:18
Ayah 64:18
عَـٰلِمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ
عَـٰلِمُ
ʿālimu
(The) Knower
ٱلْغَيْبِ
l-ghaybi
(of) the unseen
وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ
wal-shahādati
and the witnessed
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
l-ʿazīzu
the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
l-ḥakīmu
the All-Wise
Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
