67:1
Ayah 67:1
تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
تَبَـٰرَكَ
tabāraka
Blessed is
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
He
بِيَدِهِ
biyadihi
in Whose Hand
ٱلْمُلْكُ
l-mul'ku
(is) the Dominion
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
(is) over
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَىْءٍ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٌ
qadīrun
All-Powerful
Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -

67:2
Ayah 67:2
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفُورُ
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
The One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
ٱلْمَوْتَ
l-mawta
death
وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ
wal-ḥayata
and life
لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ
liyabluwakum
that He may test you
أَيُّكُمْ
ayyukum
which of you
أَحْسَنُ
aḥsanu
(is) best
عَمَلًا
ʿamalan
(in) deed
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
l-ʿazīzu
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلْغَفُورُ
l-ghafūru
the Oft-Forgiving
[He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -

67:3
Ayah 67:3
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٰتٍ طِبَاقًا ۖ مَّا تَرَىٰ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ مِن تَفَـٰوُتٍ ۖ فَٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٍ
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
The One Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
سَبْعَ
sabʿa
seven
سَمَـٰوَٰتٍ
samāwātin
heavens
طِبَاقًا
ṭibāqan
one above another
مَّا
Not
تَرَىٰ
tarā
you see
فِى
in
خَلْقِ
khalqi
(the) creation
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ
l-raḥmāni
(of) the Most Gracious
مِن
min
any
تَفَـٰوُتٍ
tafāwutin
fault
فَٱرْجِعِ
fa-ir'jiʿi
So return
ٱلْبَصَرَ
l-baṣara
the vision
هَلْ
hal
can
تَرَىٰ
tarā
you see
مِن
min
any
فُطُورٍ
fuṭūrin
flaw
[And] who created seven heavens in layers.1 You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?

67:4
Ayah 67:4
ثُمَّ ٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
ٱرْجِعِ
ir'jiʿi
return
ٱلْبَصَرَ
l-baṣara
the vision
كَرَّتَيْنِ
karratayni
twice (again)
يَنقَلِبْ
yanqalib
Will return
إِلَيْكَ
ilayka
to you
ٱلْبَصَرُ
l-baṣaru
the vision
خَاسِئًا
khāsi-an
humbled
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
while it
حَسِيرٌ
ḥasīrun
(is) fatigued
Then return [your] vision twice again.1 [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.

67:5
Ayah 67:5
وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَـٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَـٰطِينِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
وَلَقَدْ
walaqad
And certainly
زَيَّنَّا
zayyannā
We have beautified
ٱلسَّمَآءَ
l-samāa
the heaven
ٱلدُّنْيَا
l-dun'yā
nearest
بِمَصَـٰبِيحَ
bimaṣābīḥa
with lamps
وَجَعَلْنَـٰهَا
wajaʿalnāhā
and We have made them
رُجُومًا
rujūman
(as) missiles
لِّلشَّيَـٰطِينِ
lilshayāṭīni
for the devils
وَأَعْتَدْنَا
wa-aʿtadnā
and We have prepared
لَهُمْ
lahum
for them
عَذَابَ
ʿadhāba
punishment
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
l-saʿīri
(of) the Blaze
And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with lamps [i.e., stars] and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils1 and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.

67:6
Ayah 67:6
وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ
وَلِلَّذِينَ
walilladhīna
And for those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
بِرَبِّهِمْ
birabbihim
in their Lord
عَذَابُ
ʿadhābu
(is the) punishment
جَهَنَّمَ
jahannama
(of) Hell
وَبِئْسَ
wabi'sa
and wretched is
ٱلْمَصِيرُ
l-maṣīru
the destination
And for those who disbelieved in their Lord is the punishment of Hell, and wretched is the destination.

67:7
Ayah 67:7
إِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ فِيهَا سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا شَهِيقًا وَهِىَ تَفُورُ
إِذَآ
idhā
When
أُلْقُوا۟
ul'qū
they are thrown
فِيهَا
fīhā
therein
سَمِعُوا۟
samiʿū
they will hear
لَهَا
lahā
from it
شَهِيقًا
shahīqan
an inhaling
وَهِىَ
wahiya
while it
تَفُورُ
tafūru
boils up
When they are thrown into it, they hear from it a [dreadful] inhaling while it boils up.

67:8
Ayah 67:8
تَكَادُ تَمَيَّزُ مِنَ ٱلْغَيْظِ ۖ كُلَّمَآ أُلْقِىَ فِيهَا فَوْجٌ سَأَلَهُمْ خَزَنَتُهَآ أَلَمْ يَأْتِكُمْ نَذِيرٌ
تَكَادُ
takādu
It almost
تَمَيَّزُ
tamayyazu
bursts
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلْغَيْظِ
l-ghayẓi
rage
كُلَّمَآ
kullamā
Every time
أُلْقِىَ
ul'qiya
is thrown
فِيهَا
fīhā
therein
فَوْجٌ
fawjun
a group
سَأَلَهُمْ
sa-alahum
(will) ask them
خَزَنَتُهَآ
khazanatuhā
its keepers
أَلَمْ
alam
Did not
يَأْتِكُمْ
yatikum
come to you
نَذِيرٌ
nadhīrun
a warner
It almost bursts with rage. Every time a company is thrown into it, its keepers ask them, "Did there not come to you a warner?"

67:9
Ayah 67:9
قَالُوا۟ بَلَىٰ قَدْ جَآءَنَا نَذِيرٌ فَكَذَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَىْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ كَبِيرٍ
قَالُوا۟
qālū
They will say
بَلَىٰ
balā
Yes
قَدْ
qad
indeed
جَآءَنَا
jāanā
came to us
نَذِيرٌ
nadhīrun
a warner
فَكَذَّبْنَا
fakadhabnā
but we denied
وَقُلْنَا
waqul'nā
and we said
مَا
Not
نَزَّلَ
nazzala
has sent down
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
مِن
min
any
شَىْءٍ
shayin
thing
إِنْ
in
Not
أَنتُمْ
antum
you (are)
إِلَّا
illā
but
فِى
in
ضَلَـٰلٍ
ḍalālin
error
كَبِيرٍ
kabīrin
great
They will say, "Yes, a warner had come to us, but we denied and said, 'Allāh has not sent down anything. You are not but in great error.'"

67:10
Ayah 67:10
وَقَالُوا۟ لَوْ كُنَّا نَسْمَعُ أَوْ نَعْقِلُ مَا كُنَّا فِىٓ أَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
وَقَالُوا۟
waqālū
And they will say
لَوْ
law
If
كُنَّا
kunnā
we had
نَسْمَعُ
nasmaʿu
listened
أَوْ
aw
or
نَعْقِلُ
naʿqilu
reasoned
مَا
not
كُنَّا
kunnā
we (would) have been
فِىٓ
among
أَصْحَـٰبِ
aṣḥābi
(the) companions
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
l-saʿīri
(of) the Blaze
And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze."

67:11
Ayah 67:11
فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟ بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسُحْقًا لِّأَصْحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ
فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟
fa-iʿ'tarafū
Then they (will) confess
بِذَنۢبِهِمْ
bidhanbihim
their sins
فَسُحْقًا
fasuḥ'qan
so away with
لِّأَصْحَـٰبِ
li-aṣḥābi
(the) companions
ٱلسَّعِيرِ
l-saʿīri
(of) the Blaze
And they will admit their sin, so [it is] alienation1 for the companions of the Blaze.

67:12
Ayah 67:12
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُم بِٱلْغَيْبِ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَأَجْرٌ كَبِيرٌ
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
يَخْشَوْنَ
yakhshawna
fear
رَبَّهُم
rabbahum
their Lord
بِٱلْغَيْبِ
bil-ghaybi
unseen
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّغْفِرَةٌ
maghfiratun
(is) forgiveness
وَأَجْرٌ
wa-ajrun
and a reward
كَبِيرٌ
kabīrun
great
Indeed, those who fear their Lord unseen will have forgiveness and great reward.

67:13
Ayah 67:13
وَأَسِرُّوا۟ قَوْلَكُمْ أَوِ ٱجْهَرُوا۟ بِهِۦٓ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ
وَأَسِرُّوا۟
wa-asirrū
And conceal
قَوْلَكُمْ
qawlakum
your speech
أَوِ
awi
or
ٱجْهَرُوا۟
ij'harū
proclaim
بِهِۦٓ
bihi
it
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed, He
عَلِيمٌۢ
ʿalīmun
(is the) All-Knower
بِذَاتِ
bidhāti
of what (is in)
ٱلصُّدُورِ
l-ṣudūri
the breasts
And conceal your speech or publicize it; indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

67:14
Ayah 67:14
أَلَا يَعْلَمُ مَنْ خَلَقَ وَهُوَ ٱللَّطِيفُ ٱلْخَبِيرُ
أَلَا
alā
Does not
يَعْلَمُ
yaʿlamu
know
مَنْ
man
(the One) Who
خَلَقَ
khalaqa
created
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱللَّطِيفُ
l-laṭīfu
(is) the Subtle
ٱلْخَبِيرُ
l-khabīru
the All-Aware
Does He who created not know,1 while He is the Subtle, the Aware?

67:15
Ayah 67:15
هُوَ ٱلَّذِى جَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ ذَلُولًا فَٱمْشُوا۟ فِى مَنَاكِبِهَا وَكُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِهِۦ ۖ وَإِلَيْهِ ٱلنُّشُورُ
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
(is) the One Who
جَعَلَ
jaʿala
made
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلْأَرْضَ
l-arḍa
the earth
ذَلُولًا
dhalūlan
subservient
فَٱمْشُوا۟
fa-im'shū
so walk
فِى
in
مَنَاكِبِهَا
manākibihā
(the) paths thereof
وَكُلُوا۟
wakulū
and eat
مِن
min
of
رِّزْقِهِۦ
riz'qihi
His provision
وَإِلَيْهِ
wa-ilayhi
and to Him
ٱلنُّشُورُ
l-nushūru
(is) the Resurrection
It is He who made the earth tame1 for you - so walk among its slopes and eat of His provision - and to Him is the resurrection.

67:16
Ayah 67:16
ءَأَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يَخْسِفَ بِكُمُ ٱلْأَرْضَ فَإِذَا هِىَ تَمُورُ
ءَأَمِنتُم
a-amintum
Do you feel secure
مَّن
man
(from Him) Who
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
l-samāi
the heaven
أَن
an
not
يَخْسِفَ
yakhsifa
He will cause to swallow
بِكُمُ
bikumu
you
ٱلْأَرْضَ
l-arḍa
the earth
فَإِذَا
fa-idhā
when
هِىَ
hiya
it
تَمُورُ
tamūru
sways
Do you feel secure that He who is above1 would not cause the earth to swallow you and suddenly it would sway?2

67:17
Ayah 67:17
أَمْ أَمِنتُم مَّن فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ أَن يُرْسِلَ عَلَيْكُمْ حَاصِبًا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ كَيْفَ نَذِيرِ
أَمْ
am
Or
أَمِنتُم
amintum
do you feel secure
مَّن
man
(from Him) Who
فِى
(is) in
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
l-samāi
the heaven
أَن
an
that
يُرْسِلَ
yur'sila
He will send
عَلَيْكُمْ
ʿalaykum
against you
حَاصِبًا
ḥāṣiban
a storm of stones
فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ
fasataʿlamūna
Then you would know
كَيْفَ
kayfa
how
نَذِيرِ
nadhīri
(was) My warning
Or do you feel secure that He who is above would not send against you a storm of stones? Then you would know how [severe] was My warning.

67:18
Ayah 67:18
وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ
وَلَقَدْ
walaqad
And indeed
كَذَّبَ
kadhaba
denied
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those
مِن
min
from
قَبْلِهِمْ
qablihim
before them
فَكَيْفَ
fakayfa
and how
كَانَ
kāna
was
نَكِيرِ
nakīri
My rejection
And already had those before them denied, and how [terrible] was My reproach.

67:19
Ayah 67:19
أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا۟ إِلَى ٱلطَّيْرِ فَوْقَهُمْ صَـٰٓفَّـٰتٍ وَيَقْبِضْنَ ۚ مَا يُمْسِكُهُنَّ إِلَّا ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍۭ بَصِيرٌ
أَوَلَمْ
awalam
Do not
يَرَوْا۟
yaraw
they see
إِلَى
ilā
[to]
ٱلطَّيْرِ
l-ṭayri
the birds
فَوْقَهُمْ
fawqahum
above them
صَـٰٓفَّـٰتٍ
ṣāffātin
spreading (their wings)
وَيَقْبِضْنَ
wayaqbiḍ'na
and folding
مَا
Not
يُمْسِكُهُنَّ
yum'sikuhunna
holds them
إِلَّا
illā
except
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
l-raḥmānu
the Most Gracious
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed, He
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
(is) of every
شَىْءٍۭ
shayin
thing
بَصِيرٌ
baṣīrun
All-Seer
Do they not see the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [aloft] except the Most Merciful. Indeed He is, of all things, Seeing.

67:20
Ayah 67:20
أَمَّنْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى هُوَ جُندٌ لَّكُمْ يَنصُرُكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ۚ إِنِ ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ إِلَّا فِى غُرُورٍ
أَمَّنْ
amman
Who is
هَـٰذَا
hādhā
this
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
the one
هُوَ
huwa
he
جُندٌ
jundun
(is) an army
لَّكُمْ
lakum
for you
يَنصُرُكُم
yanṣurukum
to help you
مِّن
min
from
دُونِ
dūni
besides
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ
l-raḥmāni
the Most Gracious
إِنِ
ini
Not
ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
l-kāfirūna
(are) the disbelievers
إِلَّا
illā
but
فِى
in
غُرُورٍ
ghurūrin
delusion
Or who is it that could be an army for you to aid you other than the Most Merciful? The disbelievers are not but in delusion.

67:21
Ayah 67:21
أَمَّنْ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى يَرْزُقُكُمْ إِنْ أَمْسَكَ رِزْقَهُۥ ۚ بَل لَّجُّوا۟ فِى عُتُوٍّ وَنُفُورٍ
أَمَّنْ
amman
Who is
هَـٰذَا
hādhā
this
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
the one
يَرْزُقُكُمْ
yarzuqukum
to provide you
إِنْ
in
if
أَمْسَكَ
amsaka
He withheld
رِزْقَهُۥ
riz'qahu
His provision
بَل
bal
Nay
لَّجُّوا۟
lajjū
they persist
فِى
in
عُتُوٍّ
ʿutuwwin
pride
وَنُفُورٍ
wanufūrin
and aversion
Or who is it that could provide for you if He withheld His provision? But they have persisted in insolence and aversion.

67:22
Ayah 67:22
أَفَمَن يَمْشِى مُكِبًّا عَلَىٰ وَجْهِهِۦٓ أَهْدَىٰٓ أَمَّن يَمْشِى سَوِيًّا عَلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
أَفَمَن
afaman
Then is he who
يَمْشِى
yamshī
walks
مُكِبًّا
mukibban
fallen
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
on
وَجْهِهِۦٓ
wajhihi
his face
أَهْدَىٰٓ
ahdā
better guided
أَمَّن
amman
or (he) who
يَمْشِى
yamshī
walks
سَوِيًّا
sawiyyan
upright
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
on
صِرَٰطٍ
ṣirāṭin
(the) Path
مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
mus'taqīmin
Straight
Then is one who walks fallen on his face better guided or one who walks erect on a straight path?

67:23
Ayah 67:23
قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنشَأَكُمْ وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ ٱلسَّمْعَ وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ ۖ قَلِيلًا مَّا تَشْكُرُونَ
قُلْ
qul
Say
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِىٓ
alladhī
(is) the One Who
أَنشَأَكُمْ
ansha-akum
produced you
وَجَعَلَ
wajaʿala
and made
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلسَّمْعَ
l-samʿa
the hearing
وَٱلْأَبْصَـٰرَ
wal-abṣāra
and the vision
وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ
wal-afidata
and the feelings
قَلِيلًا
qalīlan
Little
مَّا
(is) what
تَشْكُرُونَ
tashkurūna
you give thanks
Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts [i.e., intellect]; little are you grateful."

67:24
Ayah 67:24
قُلْ هُوَ ٱلَّذِى ذَرَأَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَإِلَيْهِ تُحْشَرُونَ
قُلْ
qul
Say
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
(is) the One Who
ذَرَأَكُمْ
dhara-akum
multiplied you
فِى
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍi
the earth
وَإِلَيْهِ
wa-ilayhi
and to Him
تُحْشَرُونَ
tuḥ'sharūna
you will be gathered
Say, "It is He who has multiplied you throughout the earth, and to Him you will be gathered."

67:25
Ayah 67:25
وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَىٰ هَـٰذَا ٱلْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَـٰدِقِينَ
وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaqūlūna
And they say
مَتَىٰ
matā
When
هَـٰذَا
hādhā
(is) this
ٱلْوَعْدُ
l-waʿdu
promise
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you are
صَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīna
truthful
And they say, "When is this promise, if you should be truthful?"

67:26
Ayah 67:26
قُلْ إِنَّمَا ٱلْعِلْمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَإِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
قُلْ
qul
Say
إِنَّمَا
innamā
Only
ٱلْعِلْمُ
l-ʿil'mu
the knowledge
عِندَ
ʿinda
(is) with
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
وَإِنَّمَآ
wa-innamā
and only
أَنَا۠
anā
I am
نَذِيرٌ
nadhīrun
a warner
مُّبِينٌ
mubīnun
clear
Say, "The knowledge is only with Allāh, and I am only a clear warner."

67:27
Ayah 67:27
فَلَمَّا رَأَوْهُ زُلْفَةً سِيٓـَٔتْ وُجُوهُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَقِيلَ هَـٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَدَّعُونَ
فَلَمَّا
falammā
But when
رَأَوْهُ
ra-awhu
they (will) see it
زُلْفَةً
zul'fatan
approaching
سِيٓـَٔتْ
sīat
(will be) distressed
وُجُوهُ
wujūhu
(the) faces
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(of) those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
وَقِيلَ
waqīla
and it will be said
هَـٰذَا
hādhā
This
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
(is) that which
كُنتُم
kuntum
you used to
بِهِۦ
bihi
for it
تَدَّعُونَ
taddaʿūna
call
But when they see it1 approaching, the faces of those who disbelieve will be distressed, and it will be said, "This is that for which you used to call."2

67:28
Ayah 67:28
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَهْلَكَنِىَ ٱللَّهُ وَمَن مَّعِىَ أَوْ رَحِمَنَا فَمَن يُجِيرُ ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ مِنْ عَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
قُلْ
qul
Say
أَرَءَيْتُمْ
ara-aytum
Have you seen
إِنْ
in
if
أَهْلَكَنِىَ
ahlakaniya
destroys me
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
مَّعِىَ
maʿiya
(is) with me
أَوْ
aw
or
رَحِمَنَا
raḥimanā
has mercy upon us
فَمَن
faman
then who
يُجِيرُ
yujīru
(can) protect
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīna
the disbelievers
مِنْ
min
from
عَذَابٍ
ʿadhābin
a punishment
أَلِيمٍ
alīmin
painful
Say, [O Muḥammad], "Have you considered:1 whether Allāh should cause my death and those with me or have mercy upon us, who can protect the disbelievers from a painful punishment?"

67:29
Ayah 67:29
قُلْ هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَعَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا ۖ فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ مَنْ هُوَ فِى ضَلَـٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
قُلْ
qul
Say
هُوَ
huwa
He
ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ
l-raḥmānu
(is) the Most Gracious
ءَامَنَّا
āmannā
we believe
بِهِۦ
bihi
in Him
وَعَلَيْهِ
waʿalayhi
and upon Him
تَوَكَّلْنَا
tawakkalnā
we put (our) trust
فَسَتَعْلَمُونَ
fasataʿlamūna
So you will know
مَنْ
man
who
هُوَ
huwa
(is) it
فِى
(that is) in
ضَلَـٰلٍ
ḍalālin
error
مُّبِينٍ
mubīnin
clear
Say, "He is the Most Merciful; we have believed in Him, and upon Him we have relied. And you will [come to] know who it is that is in clear error."

67:30
Ayah 67:30
قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُمْ إِنْ أَصْبَحَ مَآؤُكُمْ غَوْرًا فَمَن يَأْتِيكُم بِمَآءٍ مَّعِينٍۭ
قُلْ
qul
Say
أَرَءَيْتُمْ
ara-aytum
Have you seen
إِنْ
in
if
أَصْبَحَ
aṣbaḥa
becomes
مَآؤُكُمْ
māukum
your water
غَوْرًا
ghawran
sunken
فَمَن
faman
then who
يَأْتِيكُم
yatīkum
could bring you
بِمَآءٍ
bimāin
water
مَّعِينٍۭ
maʿīnin
flowing
Say, "Have you considered: if your water was to become sunken [into the earth], then who could bring you flowing water?"
